High School Student Council and Student Body leaders met with Luc Swensson and his Dad, Thor, to discuss how they can encourage students at Thompson Falls. They are with the I Love This Life Foundation.  They presented to the entire student body early in the day. 

U of M College Visit
Thank You MT Gear Up!

Thank you Montana GEAR UP for sponsoring this visit to the University of Montana campus, where students toured the campus, as well as, attended the media lab and had a special athletics tour, hung out at the Oval, and met with Admissions.

TFHS U of MT Visit
You're in Blue Hawk Country!

TFHS students participated in a Media Lab event at University of Montana. Learning how to interview, run recording equipment, and plan podcasts. 

Graphic Design
You're in Blue Hawk Country!

Ms. Wheeler's Graphic Design students began this project several weeks ago when James Crowder visited our Graphics Design class to discuss how he became a graphics designer, what it was like to be in the field of graphic design, and shared tips about designing a project for print. Students were then challenged to design a t-shirt for incoming Freshmen (class of 2028) which was voted on by that student class.  The class culminated with a tour of Mighty Fine Tees to participate in the actual creation, start to finish of the t shirts.

GeoSpatial Skills Camp

Students Cora Anderson, Analise Fairbank, Kandice Smith, Aubrey Baxter,  and Billy Detlaff setup and test a remote sensor at the GeoSpatial Skills Camp.

UofM College Tour
You're in Blue Hawk Country!

High School students had a great campus tour at the University of Montana.  Thank you Montana GEAR UP for sponsoring this college visit!

State Music Festival
You're in Blue Hawk Country!
This group of music students under the direction of Mrs. Brittany Nichols competed at State Music Festival in Helena.  Both Band and Music students brought home some impressive awards.
 
Etiquette Lunch
You're in Blue Hawk Country!

National Honor Society members volunteered at the Junior High Etiquette Lunch.  While serving they shared with Junior High students, their future college and career plans.

Graphic Design
You're in Blue Hawk Country!

Ms. Wheeler's Graphic Design students had the opportunity to visit Mighty Fine Tees and participate as a shirt designed by Kassidy Dana was printed.  The shirts were given out to our incoming Freshmen during Focus on the Freshmen Night on May 28th.

State Bound Softball
You're in Blue Hawk Country!

FVCC Visit

TFHS Students visited the Flathead Valley Community College to learn about the opportunities available at this 2 year school. Thank you to Gear Up for making college visits like this possible! 

MT Tech Students
You're in Blue Hawk Country!

TFHS students explore the MT Tech Campus as part of Spring Tech Day 2024! Their tour included MT Tech and Highlands College. 

BrainFest
You're in Blue Hawk Country!

TFHS student Peighton Kenney, shown here with a BrainFest volunteer, participated in a University of Montana Western's BrainFest competition. It was a math modeling competition open to High School students across the state of MT.

Earlier this Spring TFHS Students visited University of Montana. Touring a diversity of colleges helps students find the college that is the right fit for their academic goals, personality, and interests. This college visit was sponsored by Gear Up MT.
